Course content covers the basics of what to do in an emergency medical situation at work or elsewhere. It gives you a valuable life skill and the formal certification you need to be able to act as a workplace emergency first-aider. It is also highly valuable for employers looking to establish, increase or update the pool of qualified first-aiders at work.
The content has been designed to teach essential life-saving skills, such as CPR and helping people who have received minor injuries, are bleeding externally or are in shock. It offers a highly practical approach with plenty of hands-on experience to reinforce the messages being taught. You will receive six hours of expert guided learning and will be expected to pass a multiple-choice test and demonstrate procedures taught during the course to qualify for certification.
